San Diego Zoo Summer Events

Image From Wikipedia
One of our favorite things to do in the summer is go to the San Diego Zoo.  The San Diego Zoo is not only one of the best zoos in the world, there are events and activities happening almost everyday. The San Diego Zoo is an easy trip for anyone living at Ariva Apartments.  The zoo is only a five minute drive from your home.

You can see the zoo before it opens for the day. On special days throughout the zoo season, adults and children 12 years and older can learn about the inside secrets of the San Diego Zoo. The best part is the area you will be learning about is a surprise until you get there. The event is around 90 minutes and includes coffee and muffins.

This two hour adventure lets you become up close and personal with the beloved San Diego Zoo pandas.  This small group tour begins around 8:30 as you get to see our favorite pandas eat their breakfast before the zoo opens. You also get to tour the zoo up close on your very own cart.  This includes stopping at a few animal exhibits to see the animals up close. Make sure to make reservations for this amazing experience.

Do you want to work on your photography skills at the zoo?  The San Diego zoo now has the program from you. There are many two-class sessions throughout the summer that will let photography beginners to experts brush up their skills at the zoo. These workshops fill up fast so make sure to call the zoo to make reservations at 619-718-3000.

These are just three of the many great events the San Diego Zoo has to offer. If you need a day-cation from your responsibilities at the office, the zoo may be the perfect place for you to explore.
