Image From Wikipedia
Summer is finally here.  Are you ready to put on some sunscreen and hit the beach?  We are ready to surf and tan in the beautiful California sun all summer long.  San Diego has many beaches that are great to relax and enjoy a few rays.  These beaches are all clean, gorgeous and close to Ariva Apartments.

Just a ten minutes drive from Ariva Apartments is Mission Beach.  This is one of the most popular beaches in San Diego. This beach has one of the busiest boardwalks in the state.  It also has the iconic wooden coaster that everyone must ride at least once. If you are looking for the iconic beach atmosphere, most of this revolves around Belmont Park at the intersection of Mission Blvd. and West Mission Bay Drive.  If you are looking for more of a relaxing day, make sure to head to South Mission Beach that is away from the hustle of Belmont Park.

Do you want to avoid the tourists, but still experience the California beach culture?  This is the beach for you.  Pacific beach is a well known spot for locals. This is also known as a great beach to surf.  There is a three mile boardwalk to explore throughout the day.  This includes some great spots for a late night drink or meal.  This fifteen minute drive is great for an after work workout or a weekend drink with friends.

Coronado Beach was voted best beach by “Dr. Beach” Leatherman and for good reason, this gorgeous beach is a favorite of locals and tourists.  There are a few beaches that make up this gorgeous stretch of coastline. There is the dog friendly North Beach for a stroll with your four legged friend.  If you are more of a fisherman, you can check out Ferry Landing Marketplace to set up for an afternoon of fishing. Go experience what people believe to be the most beautiful beach in the world only ten minutes away from Ariva Apartments.

These are only three of the beautiful beaches along the San Diego Coastline. What is your favorite beach in San Diego?
