Oysterfest in San Francisco

Image From Wikimedia
Oysterfest used to be an indie rock concert that disguised itself as a food festival. However, this 21 and over festival is now for all ages. This is the sixth year for the festival that features oysters from up and down the west coast. As you are enjoying your oysters, you can listen to music by Thievery Corporation, Little Hurricane and many more.

This event is located at Embarcadero Marina Park North. This park is a short ten minute drive from Ariva Apartments. You can start trying the Oysters at noon on Saturday and then stay until dinner when the festival closes at 7:30pm. The event is $32.00 dollars for kids and adults 13 and over. However, it is free for children under 12.  It is important to note that minors can only enjoy this festival is they are accompanied by an adult.

The oysters are this festival are featured from farms in California, Baja, The Pacific Northwest, and The Atlantic Northeast. Also, there will be a cooked oyster area from some of San Francisco's finest restaurants.  You can also enjoy other food and drinks for those who are not interested in oysters. There will be many musical acts throughout the day. Make sure to check out OysterFestSd for the festival lineup.

You can also purchase tickets ahead of time.  This is recommended because the event could sell out. Make sure to grab your tickets and make your way to Embarcadero Marina Park North for a day of food, music, and fun.
